Unlike dehydration, which can fluctuate based on lifestyle and skincare habits, dry skin is typically persistent and can affect other areas of the body, such as the hands and scalp.

Pre-care
- Cease the use of all Retinol products 48hours prior to the peel.
During the peel
A slight tingling, itching or heat may be experienced on the skin during the treatment. This is due to the active ingredients penetrating and activating in the skin to perform their function.
After treatment
- You may experience mild discomfort, redness and/or flaking.
- It is not necessary to see visible flaking or peeling of the skin following for the peel to have worked.
- Makeup may be worn immediately following the treatment.
- If you have any concerns following your treatment, please contact the Clinic where your skin treatment was performed.
- You must discontinue use of any ‘treat’ products in your homecare for the next 5-7 days. This includes products containing AHAs, BHA, Vitamin C and Retinol.
- Ultraceuticals Ultra UV Protective Daily Moisturiser broad spectrum sunscreen must be used daily.
- Avoid vigorous exercise or applying excessive heat to the area including saunas, steam baths, hot showers or chlorinated pools for 48hours following your treatment.
- Avoid waxing, IPL or laser treatments for 2 weeks.
- Suggested products to use within your homecare include the following:

Rare side-effects
- Can occur whenever a skin treatment is performed.
- Do not pick at peeling skin as this may result in post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
- Do not prematurely expose the skin to the sun as this may cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
